AhlulBayt News Agency: A Palestinian child was pronounced dead on Monday afternoon after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he sustained earlier in the morning when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed al-Deheisha refugee camp in Bethlehem.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, 14-year-old Omar Khammour was critically injured in his head in the morning when Israeli forces fired live ammunition at local youths in the camp during clashes with them.
The kid was proclaimed dead at the Arab Society Hospital in Beit Jala after doctors were unable to intervene surgically to save him due to the severity of his head injury.
A funeral will be held for martyr Khammour in the afternoon in al-Deheisha camp.
Martyr Khammour joined two other martyrs from the camp, who were killed recently by the IOF.
With his death, the number of Palestinian citizens killed since the beginning of 2023 has increased to 14 martyrs, including four children.
